Company Description
BerkleyPro is an underwriting management company, and a member company of W. R. Berkley Corporation, which specializes in professional liability insurance (directors and officers liability, fiduciary liability, and employment practices liability) for publicly traded and private entities based in the U.S. and Canada. Founded in October 2008, BerkleyPro provides coverage for Directors and Officers Liability, Fiduciary Liability, and Employment Practices Liability and most recentl (April 2011) Sponsored Insurance Agents Profesional Liability through independent agencts and brokers. In 2010, BerkleyPro was able to draw upon its strong client and broker relationships and its focus on customer service to grow its business both in terms of premium and volume, obtaining placements on prestigiuos Fortune 500 and 1000 accounts in the competitive directors' and officers' arena. Consistently valued by brokers for its excellent customer service and product knowledge, BerkleyPro will continue to focus on underwriting strength and service capabilities to differentiate itself from the competition and profitably garner market share in 2011 and beyond.
