Berkley Corporation, which specializes in professional liability insurance for publicly traded and private entities based in the U.S. and Canada. Founded in October 2008, BerkleyPro provides coverage for Directors and Officers Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Sponsored Insurance Agents Professional Liability through independent agents and brokers. In 2011, BerkleyPro was able to draw upon its strong client and broker relationships, its technical and industry knowledge and its focus on customer service to grow its business both in terms of premium and volume, obtaining placements on Fortune 1500 accounts in the competitive professional liability arena.
